Since 1986, brothers and business partners Roy and Bill Fleschner have built their reputation on quality workmanship, honesty, and a commitment to treating every customer like family. From their earliest days in the automotive industry, they have focused on providing dependable service, exceptional craftsmanship, and a level of care that has earned the trust of generations of customers throughout St. Lucie County.
Family, dedication, and a strong work ethic have always been the foundation of the Fleschner brothers’ success. After losing their mother to cancer at a young age, Roy and Bill developed a strong bond and a determination to build a future they could be proud of. At only 18 and 22 years old, they began their journey together by opening a small discount muffler franchise located within an automotive repair plaza. Through hard work, perseverance, and the encouragement and support of their aunt and uncle, they were able to purchase the plaza in 1993 and continue growing their automotive businesses.
Over the years, Roy and Bill expanded their operations and transformed the plaza into a complete automotive service destination. Their vision was to create a trusted location where customers could receive professional automotive services all in one place. This vision became Total Auto Care Center, a family-owned automotive facility providing customers with reliable service and expert vehicle care.
As part of their continued commitment to quality, the Fleschner brothers established a dedicated Total Auto Painting and Collision Center equipped to handle everything from minor cosmetic repairs to major collision restoration projects. With decades of experience in auto body repair, collision repair, and automotive painting, Roy and Bill have built a reputation for skilled workmanship and dependable results.
Building a successful family business has not always been easy. In 2004, Hurricane Frances severely damaged their facility, leaving much of their business in need of rebuilding. Rather than give up, Roy and Bill faced the challenge head-on. They cleared away the damage, rebuilt from the ground up, and returned stronger than ever with a renewed commitment to serving the residents and families of St. Lucie County.
During the rebuilding process, the brothers took the opportunity to improve the customer experience by creating a more welcoming and comfortable facility. The renovated plaza included a spacious showroom, updated waiting area, television, Wi-Fi access, and a customer workstation. Bill’s wife, Jennifer Fleschner, REALTOR®, a successful real estate professional, also played an important role in helping with marketing and rebranding efforts during this new chapter.
Today, Roy and Bill continue to operate Total Auto Painting and Collision Center with the same principles that guided them from the beginning: integrity, quality workmanship, and genuine customer service. Their family-owned and operated business remains dedicated to helping customers restore their vehicles and get back on the road with confidence.
